My writing experience is vast and varied, from HTML-laden posts created by hand in the days when blogs were known as “web logs” to producing pithy press releases for online businesses.
ADVERTORIAL WRITING
I created freelance advertorial content as part of the Skincare-news.com team in 2008-09. The site doesn’t list individual writer names as a matter of policy, but I have the original Word documents with tracked changes from the editor, if needed. Here are some articles I wrote — on spec — that were accepted and published:
- Spa Day: It’s a Guy Thing (Really!)
- A Guy’s Guide to Aging Well
- Frugal Facials: How to Save Money on the Beauty You Crave
- The Top Three Myths About Acne
SEO & SEARCH-DRIVEN CONTENT
From 2009 to 2012, I did writing and editing for Demand Media (now Leaf Group) and its client properties on a freelance basis. Below is a list of some of the articles I’ve written, including submissions under the pen name of “Miriam Webster.”
